Samsung NC10 Netbook Review
The Samsung NC10 has joined the ranks of 10-inch cheap netbooks, including the Eee PC 1000H, MSI Wind, and Lenovo IdeaPad S10, and it beats them all. The $499 NC10 may have the same cookie-cutter specs as its competitors, including a 1.6-GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, and Windows XP, but its spacious, well-positioned keyboard and more than 6 hours of battery life make this system our favorite 10-inch netbook yet.

Hi Bradley, a netbook is very similar to laptop, and you can use it to surf internet, run programs like office applications play some games, watch movies etc. Its much cheaper and smaller than a laptop. But the downside is, you will not have a CD/DVD drive. So if you want to watch CD/DVD movies etc, you need an external drive. But for most basic applications, netbook is a good alternative. If you plan travels, and if your computation needs are not very high, then netbook is a good choice.

The six battery lasts a few hours which is very good. On Amazon there is a nine cell battery for this product which should last a lot longer.

it beats a lot of netbooks, mostly because of its battery life and the 250gb hard drive, compared to regular 3.2hr battery netbooks with 160gb hdds (sometimes 8gb sdds, really. EIGHT gigs.)

I’ve got mine since 1 year now, a blue one and i must say this SAMSUNG NC10 is SUPER!!! Realy i don’t regret at all to have perchased it because despite it’s low sound capacity, it got everything built-in and super slim/small that you can carry anywhere as a profesional or evryone who love speed working computers!
So does saying ebooks are not excellent as normal PC are just wrong!
